Hi sorry if this question has been answered. Why when I transfer a new PPF OR PPI whatever the terminology is I lose all the other ones. Not sure why this happens but can somebody explain how to remedy this please? Thankyou in advance.

PPF file is the expansion pack as it is imported to YEM.

When you are finally ready to install it you will have to export the installation file. That is the PPI file

This file will be installed and REPLACE all the current content you have.

PPF files are customizable within YEM - Meaning: you can choose what voice, style etc you would like to include in your final Pack or simply highlight the individual packs you would like to install but again, the minute the exported file (PPI) Is created it will overwrite all the existing content you currently have.

If you want to simply add to what you currently have, simply connect the keyboard as you normally would. Then, make sure to not uncheck the packs that are already installed and simply check (or add) those that you wish to add. You'll be able to do so until you'll reach the memory capacity which is around 1783mb (1.8gb)

The total size of the .ppi file that you can install to your instrument depends on the model you have.

In YEM there's a green bar at the top of the page which shows how much of the available space ALL the items you've selected will take up.

Every time you start up YEM, it remembers the last selections you made and you can add/remove as you want. It's not possible within YEM to store a kind of 'project file' that contains all the selections - it only keeps the last selection.

Has anybody come across any samples that include real guitars like Les Paul, David Gilmours etc.
