I am fairly new to arranger keyboard. I would like some things about midi-files. As I understand I can download a midi-file and play along, even change voices transpond etc.
But what happens if I have sheet Music in for example G-minor and I have downloaded a midi-file in a different key. Can I transpose the midi-file to G minor whitout changing my keyboard.
I feel I am missing some information about this. Grateful for any help.

You could Transpose the MIDI to any Key.

+ Or - Semi tone.

To Transpose the Song ( MIDI )
Go to the Mixing Console. And You Should see Transpose for
Song.

Does this means that it is only the midi-song I transpose? The keyboard it self stays the same?

Normanfernandez

Yes my friend,

Only the Song gets Transposed.
Everything else remains the same.

Thank you Norman. By the way you play awesome. (The same keyboard as mine).
I would be happy if we could swap styles and midifiles in the future.
