Hi !
I need to create a Keyboard Style without using a Keyboard. After created the style, I need to save it to the keyboard. Is it possible to do that. If can, tell me what are the available good softwares for that??  Thank you.

Hi,
first, it is quite possible but not at all obvious because we have to take into account a lot of parameters:
- the model and the brand of the arranger. Each brand has its own characteristics, especially Sy***, which will not necessarily be managed by this or that model.
- the design of the styles and their construction (number of variations, possibility of playing different parts according to the mode of agreement etc ...)
- the possibility of editing more or less important and also the CC (controls) that the editor is able to manage etc ....

Already, these three points show that it is not enough to build a style on a DAW from a computer and transfer it directly to the arranger keyboard to use it.
Of course, there is software that can add Sy*** on these files out of a DAW but still find the one that corresponds to the brand and the model of the arranger!
As far as DAWs are concerned, practically all of them allow us to make our own styles from the moment we know how to use them and are precise and organized. But it is neither easy nor fast, especially since, on the Net, one can find a huge amount of ready-made and often good quality styles for almost all arrangers of the market.

Hi

Or check out my "Style Creation Course" starting at http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/articles/style_1.htm

This is a primer for creating styles from scratch in a sequencer software.

I suggest making a style or midi password using sonar and the patch program is also provided for psr, and don't forget to set the CC DAW control to psr ...
