They added a feature called mono legato. There is also a larger memory on the 975, and they have added a plus button with some styles from different expansion packs. But the two keyboards are very similar! My 970 broke, so I have the 975 now. For me they are the same!

So I think that the main differences if you go from S970 to S775 are:

+ Lose vocal harmony
+ Lose quite a lot of expansion memory space
+ Lose a number of preset voices and styles
+ Lose audio styles
+ Lose 'euro' sample on the organ flutes voices
+ Lose VGA output

+ Gain the 'plus' category of voices and styles
+ Gain 'mono legato'
+ Gain 'half bar fill'

Pardon, I thought you meant 970 contra 975. The 775 is another matter. No vocal harmony!

Thank you all for your reply's. I guess maybe I should have explained why I wanted to know.
I really dislike tearing down and  packing up my 970 lugging it to a band rehearsal then back home and doing it all again in reverse. So have been deliberating buying the cheaper version just to leave at rehearsal and leaving the 970 at home, tweaking sounds etc and then just using it for the gigs.
But I'd like to know just how much of a downgrade it would be. I can't afford to have 2 970's~ one for each space so... you get the idea now I think.
I might even need to consider the 670 or 675 or whatever the 600 series is.
I'm getting older and my back is not too great, has been bad for years really.
Any idea or suggestions? I'm all ears.
Again thanks for your help

Weight difference between S970/S975 and S770/775 is not worth to mention: it's only 0,5kg -its' a difference you won't notice at all. So, buying S775 only because of weight difference really makes no sense.
However, S775 is quite cheaper compared to S975.. even more if you get some S770 second hand. That way, you can maybe afford having a "spare" keyboard. Question is how much will that spare keyboard be used for rehearsal... if it's worth the investment for mostly standing there?

There's another option you've mentioned, but only you know the answer: how much of S970 advantages are you using at rehearsal scene. Is VH a must have? You need to have hundreds additional voices and styles installed all the time? And finally, you think you can do rehearsal without S.Art! voices (using Regular voices instead)? Well, S670 is dirty cheap nowaday and is MUCH lighter in case you decide to carry it.
Take time and look at this video to get an impression:

And no, sound of S670 is not of lower quality compared to S775 (I have both). It's just the more you pay, more options/features you get. Some might be essential to you, and some you might never use.
I hope this writing is of some help to you.

Bogdan weight difference is no concern
I'm not switching boards.
I'm buying a second board to just leave at rehearsal site to avoid moving it at all!
The 970 would stay home and then only taken out for the live gigs.
Actually the 670 may well suit my needs as well.
I'd not miss many of the 970 features playing in my "full band"
Don't use the VH in the band
As long as the brass, pianos, organs, etc are close in quality I'd be a happy camper

All clear my friend
Now, even assuming S670's capability would be enough for rehearsal purpose there's a thing I forgot to mention, which you probably though about: panel buttons layout is slightly different (not that much), but display is MUCH smaller. Event display content is exactly the same as on PSR-S77x/S97x, it's resolution is extremely small -some pictograms almost unrecognizable.
What's left is second hand S770. I can see, people selling it for about 700-800Euro in europe. That doesn't mean they sell it for that price, though... because I think that's kinda overpriced -considering new S775 is 1000euro.
Decisions, decisions  :)

The S670 has a smaller display. It can be uncomfortable
