LAN and USB

PSR-S970

I just got a UD-WL01 LAN. It works great but now I don't have a place to plug in my USB drive. Is there any problem in using a hub to have both plugged at the same time?

I've used the LAN plugged into a hub, and had no problems. I can't remember the last time I ever plugged anything into the usb socket on the back of my s-970. I've always used a hub.

Gentlemen

I have one of those LAN's  on my new to me tyros five.

I've spent hours with it trying to get it to communicate with my iPad and no luck

I went through all the steps and no luck.

I'm not sure what its used for.

can you help this guy?
