I need to modify a simple GM/XG voice (Say, a Warm Pad or Strings) so that notes above the 3rd Octave (C4) are muted. In other words, The Note range of the tone should be limited to only the 1st, 2nd and 3rd octave. I need to save this as a *.VCE file, to use it in most PSR keyboards that I play as I travel.
I will use this voice a a LAYER to a MAIN voice which will be piano. So that when ever I roll arpeggios to the top octave of the piano and return down, the LAYERed tone will not accompany the piano's notes beyond the 3rd octave, but will accompany the rest of the piano.
I currently accomplish this with my custom made voice using Yamaha Expansion Manager for PSRs975.
Is there a way to make myself a portable VCE file of this kind.
Pls Help.

If I got this Correct,
You Created a Expansion Voice,

And Loaded it on the S975/

You won't be able to use the Voice on any other Keyboard, Since the SAMPLES don't Exist (Loaded)

As far as Settings go,
You can Go to Voice set and Make changes, Save it to USER/ USB which can be shared.
