Creating an empty song

I want to create a song..
No midi music notes in it..
Just voices and dsp selected and mixer vallues set..

Can i do this on the Genos
Or does it require a computer?

Before getting VConsole I used to do this to set up extra voices for playing live through the song channels. Dsp's can be added to the channel via mixer. But before it will save you do have to

- go to step edit and add a note say with low velocity so it won't be heard. Channels empty of notes won't
be saved.

-go to Setup, ensure all properties you want are ticked (usually the top 7). Then Execute

- Save

Ps
if you need to save edited voices (as opposed to simply selecting the unedited voices) you will need to actually record for 1 or 2 notes first to transfer all the data to the channel, then delete all notes except for one.

I will try that out John, seems like a great place to start..

And Wim, i will look into mixmaster..
Have no experience with the program..
