Thinking of getting into creating my own custom styles for my 3000 but in a recent message Drake brought up an interesting point about moving up to a sf2 kb.. I am not planning on moving up any time soon but I do plan on moving up.  I figure I'll wait for the next big thing in the middle of the road line.  My question is am I likely to have much problem with playing the styles I create on my 3000 on a newer KB?

No. All sff2 keyboards can play sff1 styles.

I moved up from a 2100 to a 970. I use my old styles all the time. As Fred says, no problem. Most of them will sound even better on the new kb! Sometimes you need to adjust volume levels alittle.
