Dear All.
I run a social dance in a big church hall. For the past few years I have used four tall uplighter lamps which have worked well but now they have started to get a bit rickety.
Can anyone suggest some lighting that I could use(something that would be like a wash light etc and colourful)
I don't want to spend a lot on this.

I did think on getting some LED floodlights and spraying the glass a different colour.
Cheers
John.

Hiya ..

T.L.C. do some stage/disco/rope/christmas & outdoor lighting, many LED strips and controllers, but also some cost effective Colour LED Floodlights (10w led)

Might do the job if mounted on couple mic stands or whatever, and they use hardly any power!

Order a free catalogue .. comprehensive .. here
https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/tcl/catalogue-requests/new

I have an account with them, so I use regularly and their stuff is good on prices.
Their deliveries are also rapid.

PS. I'd be wary of the cheap remote controlled versions on eBay. They are distributed by outlet warehouses here, but imported from any-old-where in China.
TLC have excellent after-sales backup if you open an account .. you can buy all your cabling/connector stuff there too, probably, apart from maybe stage audio.

Dear All,
I have purchased some really good lighting for the hall I use(And other venues).
They are a pair of Chauvet wash FX 2.I mount them on a T Bar stand projected at the ceiling. The effect is great.
Also I purchased a Novopro Gobosphere ball which gives out an amazing mirror ball effect.
Cheers
John.
