Reviewing [arts of the tutorial and the site and ran across a post describing the sound a pro group got on stage that seemed to create a actual band as opposed to the sound most regular home users get.  Dawned on me that the pros probably had used panning on the styles to separate the instruments sounds.  Then went to tutorial to see how to set the panning in styles.  Wow!  This looks like a big job and it appears that it is necessary to save the style as a new style each time.  So the question is, is it worth the effort.  How many of you go to this extreme in modifying your styles?  If you do this how do you place the instruments in the stereo mix?

Panning each style track by a different amount should definitely help the accompaniment sound more like a band spread out on stage rather than like a monophonic radio set in the center of the stage.
