Hello Everyone,

Is there, by any chance, styles of the psr a3000 converted to be compatible with the psr s910. I need the middle eastern and oriental ones from the psr a3000. Thank you all in advance

DrakeM

Welcome to the forum. :)

I can't say as I recall someone converting the styles as a pack.

Here is a link to Onacimus' Conversions style page and he has MANY Oriental styles posted there to sample through that may be of interest to you. ;D

https://www.psrtutorial.com/sty/collections/onacimus.html

I have converted may of the expansion packs for the S950 into using standard onboard voices but the issue became impossible to convert all the packs as I had no idea as to what an acceptable replacement sound could be.

I hope you can find many styles at Onacimus' Conversions page.

Be sure to go DOWN and search the whole page of his styles. ;)

Regards
Drake

Hello DrakeM,

I thank you very much for your replies. I already downloaded these styles that you have mentioned. They are OK, but the ones from the PSR a3000 are amazing. Is there a way to convert them so that I can play it on my PSR 910? Or, is there anywhere I can find, ask, or even purchase them (converted to the PSR 910 format, of course)

Thank you so much.

Go down to:

S910 Oriental SuperMega Styles

There you can read:
"""'I have completed three sets of Oriental Super Mega styles from PSR-A2000 and A3000. These styles carry lots of new voices from the PSR-S910, very interestingly SA voices in OTS. So I named this set as "Oriental SuperMega".""""

------------------
You may also want to try download styles from here:
http://psrtutorial.com/sty/yamaha/psr-s970.html

Go down to Super Mega Plus Styles
PSR-S970 Super Mega Plus Style Collection - 2,874 Styles

There you can read:
""(June 17, 2018) I expanded the Super Mega Plus Collections by adding the new Plus styles of PSR-S975. I converted all the styles except some Oriental styles that were already included from the PSR-A3000. ""

A3000,s910 and s970 all have the same styke format  which is SFF2.
That means that same styles can play in these keyboards.
BUT styles may using a different drumkit for each keyboard and different voices.
So you probably will need to use the Style Creator and the Mixing Console to revoice some parts of the styles.

In the attached pdf you can check the Turkish and Iranian styles of the A 3000 and how many of them you have downloaded from the psrtutorial site.

Hello Panos,

Thank you for the reply. Where can I get  (or download) the style creator and mixing console? Is there a tutorial or help files that come with them?

Thanks Again,

Cheers.

This functios work pretty much the same in all models (psr s series-tyros) so you will find lots of videos on Youtube.
