Hi Ash,
It's a kind of magic is a nice song to start with.
The title is saying what is going to follow. :)
I don't know all these songs of cource to make a playlist,
but you could take an idea from their live perfpmances on youtube or from a "best of" cd.
They don't put the songs in accidental order in both cases.
In my opinion is good to start with a well known song and to end up with at least with two famous songs.(ok! ok! the last one must be "we are the champions" ;D )
They say that is what people remember better afterwards.
No more than two slow piece's in a row and in that case the second one must be really really nice.
Just some thoughts by me.
There people here that they are gigging and can give you much better advices from their experience.

I have downloaded midi files with melodies on them but I'm struggling to learn the melodies because they are quiet compared with the rest of the midi file.   I downloaded an app for my mobile phone that slows the tempo of a song which i thought, great this will help me to learn melodies.   Nope,  I play notes on my keyboard while im listening to the song slowed down on my phone but i cant tell if he's singing a G or an A or something, then i get lost.  Help!  I've got a gig in November.

Hi my friend,
is n't synthesia or other programs helpful to see the exact notes of the melody of the midi files?
In case you have a keyboard that shows only sheet music that you cannot read and not the keyboard's keys like they are shown in Yamaha's Education Suite.

how do i see the exact notes?

Piano From Above is free

Musescore is also free.
If you can read sheet music you can play the midi file here and extract the sheet music and print it

I downloaded Piano from Above.   I'm trying to learn a song but i cant pick out and play the chords or bass notes from piano from above.       How do i just have chords playing or something?

Sorry my friend,I didn't see your reply.
Go to "File" and choose "Practice using custom settings".
There you can hide and/or mute the channels you want and show just the channel you are interesting to learn.

Hi im learning the melody of a Queen song but there's always a doubt in my head that it wont sound right.   Because i use midi files and i play chords while the guitar solo is playing wont sound right.  I don't know what to play/ what sound to use once melody stops, i dont want to sit and play nothing.
