Anyone know how to remove Russian Classical S9- from USER?

You have to create an expansion pack that you like on your computer using the Yamaha Expansion Manager and then insert that pack to you S970.
The previous pack will be deleted.

You just have to uninstall a pack if you want to remove it from user-memory.

Thank you Dick. I am going to try and do what Panos has suggested and then,  if that does not work for me I wonder if you could tell me how to uninstall a pack, because I can't figure out how to do that. Is it easy to do?

On the PSR S950: Function - Expansion pack Installation - User. There you'll find what pack is installed. Just press Uninstall. Follow the instructions. As simple as that.

Very strange. Save whatever you have worked on and do a real (hard) factory reset (That is NOT the highest key while power on! Look it up in your manual.) That will bring your keyboard back as it came out of the box and will delete everything that Yamaha had not installed. Don't worry about the onboard styles and voices, the can not be deleted.
