Congrats on what looks like it may be a solution to your problem.  Looks like the squeaky wheel got the attention it deserved.

I'm so sad, Toril...
I hope that your come back with a new chassis and a full working instrument!
I admire your patience....!

Thanks WolfBack. My poor keyboard. Been through some tough times just like its owner.

I hope you get it sorted out soon Toril but in the meantime, you have been left without a keyboard for months and your warranty is wasting away. A good call for compensation, I reckon ;)

Hello Toril,

I hope the end of this nightmare is close. I can feel your pain and really hope they do a good work. These are complex instruments and assembling them is not an easy task, but they are trained and should be able to do it. Keep the faith!

Toril I agree with Gary.....if it's a Yamaha approved repair shop you should go through them.  If not, take the gloves off and take the legal option Gary suggested. It sounds like if you took the KB out of the shop without looking at it they would have denied any damage was their fault, smart decision to give it a look.     I m very sorry for you.  Flip

Tori's,
I have been away from the forum for awhile and I just found this thread. I am so sorry to hear about all of your troubles and I hope for a speedy resolution. You produce beautiful music and I can only imagine how I would feel to be without my keyboard for this long.
Good luck, I will be watching for you to tell us soon that all is resolved.
