Hi,

Can someone please suggest a guitar voice for Roy Orbison songs.

I have tried the vintage amp but that has problems when played with some notes playing very quietly despite the initial touch being set to off.

So which other guitar voice might be best?

Thanks,

Martin

What is the name of the song that we can hear the guitar sound you want?

If it is the guitar in one that the STYLE parts, you are limited to just one voice to choose unless you copy the style's Pattern Part into another slot in the style and use two voices to create the sound.

If it is a guitar sound you are using is in your OTS, I might have a set up for you that someone shared here at the forum years ago that I use a lot. James Burton played with Roy in the "Black and White" session and I use this special set up to mimic Burton's guitar licks.

Also here is another idea. If you lick on my LIBRARY link below in my signature, can listen to hundreds of my songs that I have recorded. I use different guitar sounds and just about any thing you want ought to be in some of them. You might want to start off listening to the Elvis recorded songs as a lot of those are where I just the Burton guitar set up. If you find the sound you want, I can post the style I used here for you.

Hi Drake,

Thanks for the kind offers. ;D

I am just looking a voice to use for such songs as Pretty Woman etc.

I do have the settings for a Roy Orbison voice but I have lost the original voice that was the starting point so if you have one that you use that would be great. 8)
