Is there a way of knowing which are the Revo drum kits on the SX920 please?

Thank you

Dear Vic,

it is quite easy.

Go to Yamaha website/SX920/Download, find the file called PSR-SX920/PSR-SX720 Data List, download it, unzip, and you have an Excel file.

Open it, and at the bottom of the window (scrolling the page to the right) select the sheet called Drum&SFX Kit List SX920.

Open that sheet.
At the top there are the various labels for the different Drum Kits. The last column on the right of each Kit says REV (= Revo Drums).
Go down trough that column: if you find the sign of a black dot besides the single components of the Kit, that means that this Kit IS A REVO DRUM.

Please consider that when you visualize the sheet, you only see the first Kits. To see the many others, you need to scroll the page to the right.

That's it.

Thank you Angelo.

That's really helpful.  As you suggest, I will download the Data Sheet from Yamaha.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Easiest way is go to voice select and press Drum kit. You will now see all your drum kits including Revo.

Actually the sx920 has *no* built in revo voices; it uses the same non-cycling revo-compatible drum kits the sx900 does (and they unsurprisingly share the same unique LSB MSB numbers, which don't match Revo or Ambient)

*however* in a surprising move, there *are* 5 Revo kits in the pre-installed Middle Eastern expansion (taken from the 10 new revo kits found on the A5000). But since you can uninstall these, I'm not considering them 'built in' like the presets; there are *no* revo presets on either the sx920, sx900 (and since the sx720 is based on the sx900, safe to assume none there as well)
