Friends,
I have Allen&Heath Zed 10FX Audio mixer having USB interface to play audio from USB source. Can i connect Genos2  USB to the Mixer and playback the Genos2 audio through mixer instead of  Genos2 Line outputs   ?

Thanks,
Sunny

If you wish to use your mixer to adjust the speaker volume, you can route the R & L line outs of the Genos2 to a stereo pair of inputs on your mixer.

I have both a Genos2 and a MODX7+. However, I have only one set of speakers. I route the line outs of both keyboards to inputs on my mixer and then send the mixer output to the speakers. That way I can play either or both keyboards and hear the sounds on the speakers. I can use the mixer to adjust volume, pan and add effects if desired.

Since the Genos2 has a microphone input, you can use that or plug multiple microphones and/or instruments into the mixer.

I have my Genos2 hooked up via USB to my PC. I also have my Focusrite 8i6 audio interface connected via USB to my PC. My speakers are connected to the 8i6 via analog audio cables.

With Cubase running on the PC and the Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO driver selected in Cubase, I can route digital audio from the Genos2 through the computer/DAW to the 8i6, which then converts the digital audio to analog audio and sends it to my speakers.

There is no way to do this digital audio routing without a computer (or some other USB host) in the middle.

When I don't want to use the PC, I have my Genos2 connected via analog audio cables to the 8i6 and it's analog audio all the way.
