Combining Different Style Parts

Am I correct in thinking on the Tyros 4 style creator it's only possible to combine style parts using the style assembly with internal / factory styles?
Or is I possible to use any styles ?

You can change out any style parts with your T4 keyboard as it uses SFF2 styles.

Meaning you can use even newer styles like SX900, Genos and even Genos 2 style parts when creating your own custom styles.

You can not only use any style from the preset area, but also external styles, e.g. from the user area or the USB area.

Yes, you can load styles from Genos 2. But you will have to adapt the styles to the voices that are available on your Tyros4.

Yes. But you will need to use Genos 2 styles that have their Drum kit patterns reworked. The members have reworked thousands of the newer styles to work in the older keyboards. That is what the COLLECTIONS section the PSRTutorial site contains. 

Here is my page containing 261 of the new "named" Genos2 styles that will work in your keyboard. You may need to change a guitar voice once in awhile if it is missing from your keyboard to one your keyboard has.
