Hello musical friends!
As you know I compose a lot of songs using my Yamaha keyboards. I have a MIDI recording of all the songs, and it would be great if I could use a program to transcribe my MIDIS into sheet music. I asked Mr. Google, and several programs came up, some of them even have free versions. But I wonder: Can you reccomend one that works. Will it work? Or is this just a dream too good to be true?

Just now a man is helping me to transcribe a march for me and arrange it for our local school band. If I in the future could do it myself I would save myself some money :)

Hi Toril,

Musescore 4 will work as far as I'm aware.

Kind regards,

Hi Toril,

As two other members in this thread have said, I use MuseScore. I've used this free program since its inception and it's a literal powerhouse. :)

The following link is to the latest version of MuseScore (MuseScore4):
