Thank you Andrew for the coherent suggestions regarding. As a non gigging home enthusiast, either of (Genos 2 + P525) or (P525 + DAW+Mac) seem appealing to me.

However, as another member suggested to you, what do you (or any other members) think of using Montage M8x + DAW for both piano practice and music making?

I'm in a somewhat similar boat.
I can't give you an opinion on Montage yet but I'm looking to try one out in a store hopefully this Saturday.
It sounds absolutely awesome though in online demos.

The problem I have with the Montage M8X is I use an enormous studio desk and I don't think that is going to fit in the drawer as it is over 40cm deep. The P525 should be fine.
Plus I really like the headphone port at the front + binaural sound when using headphones which only comes on the digital pianos or silent systems.
So indeed making piano practice a bit more special.
I may end up with P525 + Montage M6X on the top part of the desk, Mac & DAW and NI Ultimate 14.
And then selling both my CP88 and Genos. The room where I have the Genos I'm thinking of getting a Roland drum kit.  ;D
Without Music, Life would be a Mistake.
