midi playing on PSR-700 and show melody on keyboard (monitor via pc)

I am a beginning player and am trying to play along the melody from midi files.
It is difficult to find the right keys of this melody because reading musical notes is still very difficult.
It would be nice if I could show the pressed keys on a monitor (via pc).
This is actually the same as the apps like flowkey and the like.
The difference then is that the midi file is played on the keyboard.

Is this possible?

The old fashioned way is best for learning ie practice your scales and arpeggios and simple sheet music exercises until you can find the notes without looking. It's work, and seems boring, but there are really no shortcuts. People think there must be an app that will make this easier for me - there is for everything else and that is current thinking - but in my opinion that doesn't work. You just have to put in the practice the old fashioned way if you want to improve.
