This sign came up when I tried to delete a song recording on my SX 900. I've no idea what it means. Maybe, it is the root of the problem that plagues me from time to time  when I am trying to do a quick audio record on my otherwise brilliant SX 900 . It is so frustrating when I am all set up to record and I press the audio quick record button and a message appears saying "This function is unavailable at this time "

This typically happens when your USB stick is fragmented. You need a better organized USB stick.

Get a new stick, format it on the keyboard, and use it only fir quick records. I'll bet these problems disappear.

Now why didn't I think of that! Thanks for prompting me. Your help has once again saved me much anguish.  What would we do without this Forum. J.J.
