Hello I'm just new to this forum and wondered if anyone knows how to make the T5 sound like a Scottish Pipe Band. I am also looking for a Rhythm (Style) to play Highland Cathedral to.
Any thoughts?

Have a look at the Celtic expansion pack (free from Yamaha website) for Tyros5 - it has a couple of bagpipe voices in it.

You need to play them carefully, because they are SArt2, but can give good results.

Thanks for that Derek, I have downloaded the Pack but am having great difficulties getting it into the T5. The only video that I have been able to find in English is for using the Expansion Manager with a Genos and while they are similar it loses me towards the completion, do you know of an instruction video or text for using the Expansion Manager with a T5?
Many thanks.

Hi TheOrganGrinder, if you have the memory expansion module in the underside of the T5 then please go to cms-sounddesign.com, I have nothing to do with the site but have used their sounds many times. Go to freeware then click on woodwind section there you will find CMS High Drones. CMS High Drones II 61er key version. CMS High Drones II 76er key version. CMS Highlander.

You will also see the instructions for how to install the packs into your keyboard, but if you don't have the expansion module, then it would not be possible to install.

Hope you find this useful.

Thanks for that info. AndyB. I have gone for the CMS Highlander as I think the "Drones" on the others would have been too much for me. I have only just been on the site and so far have not been able to "download" anything from the email they sent but it looks avery usefull site and I will I'm sure use it again.
Thanks again.

Hi Den,

Log in to cms-sounddesign.com with your username (email) and password and then click on the "MY ORDERS" button. Once the "purchased" products (free packs in your case) are listed there, you should be able to download them from there (blue links).

Best regards,
Chris

Thanks for the advice, I had not realized that even with a Free purchase I had to wait for an invoice being emailed.
All done now, good site, thanks again.

PS. Does anyone know a good rhythm for a Barn Dance. I have found many that will fit ok but the Brush Patterns just don't seem right?
