Is there a way to turn on and off the vocal harmony without going into the mic and vocal harmony setting it seem difficult while your at a job and want to have a small part of the song in harmony to start fishing around thru menus. The Tyros 5 just has a button that turns it on and off? Thanks all of you for your time, skill and help is very appreciated. -Al

Hi, you can have a pedal to swicht the VH on and off or if you've a Genos or an SX 900 you can assign this function to a button; all the best Patrick

Registrations will turn VH on and off, and change harmony if desired. Another reason a lot of us use them.

Cheers,

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum, Al!

Yes, there is no dedicated hardware button for this on the SX900, but as Patrick already mentioned, you can assign the "VH Harmony On/Off" function (found in the "Mic" category) in the Assignable display to an ASSIGNABLE button or to a Pedal (foot switch). Please see chapter "10 Controller Function Settings" in the SX900 Reference Manual, from page 111.

If you don't have the Reference Manual yet, you can download it here:

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
