Dears,

Using PCP2 voices I made PCP1- PPF because this was the only coded one.
You can have it one month from now.

I will also make a China Pack 5 in 1 to have all in one place.

Misu

Dears,

Here you have one pack with all 5 Chinese packs (70 styles) to reduce number of installed packs.

Hope to be usefully

Thank you for sharing. One issue i encounterd is it could not load into YEM it said an error occured and the pack could not be imported,

Thank so much for your great job, Misu. :)

H E L P
I would be very grateful if someone could upload the styles only, if possible.
I have a Tyros4. PPF files cannot be entered, as you might remember. ;)

Thank you so much for helping me out.
Best regards, JH

Misu

Dear Jeff,

Unfortunately I erase the styles after I check the pack but now is PPF can be extracted by software.
What can I say is that the styles with 001-020 from China pack are full of specific voices so, hard to try to use on T4
The rest with 1 2 3 4 from the premium packs are quite nice, no so much Chinese.

Thanks!

Which software must be used to extract styles from a ppf ? Where to be found ?
Hope I can extract all styles from the ppf's offered by Yamaha ( for free ...)  wishful thinking ?  :)
Thanks !
Best wishes, JH

Hi Jeff,

You can use the "StyleExtractor V1.0.0.5" PC (Windows) program to extract Styles from non-protected Pack Project files (.ppf) or Pack Install files (.ppi). You will find the download link in the following post: :)

Hi Jeff,

The "StyleExtractor" program was developed by our forum member "jexino" and it definitely works. :)

By the way, please only use the current version 1.0.0.5. Earlier versions still had some bugs.

Hi Jeff,

Just click on the link in my first post in this thread. This will take you to a post by "jexino" that contains the download link for StyleExtractor V1.0.0.5. :)

Hi Chris :

After extracting the ppf, I cannot find the Styles pack in my PC.
What am I doing wrong ?
Sorry to bother you again. ???

Best regards,
JH

Hi Jeff,

After you have started StyleExtractor, click on the "Choose PPI/PPF File" button and select the desired pack file in the "Open YEM file" window that appears. Then click the "Start to extract" button and wait a moment for the process to complete. Now you can close the program window again.

You can find the extracted styles in the location of the relevant pack file. StyleExtractor creates a subfolder there with the name "<Name of the Pack>_Styles". The path to this folder is also displayed in the program window under "Extracted to:". (You can drag the window a little wider on the right edge if you don't see the full path.)

Important: If NO FOLDER containing the styles is created in the location of the StyleExtractor pack file after clicking "Start to extract", then the pack in question does not contain any styles.

Best regards,
Chris

Dear Misu,

I have just downloaded your OPTIMUM zip file, unzipped: 70 easy to load .sty files!
Loaded into my Genos and started to play: they work fine.

Obviously they need some tweaking and styles voices changing, plus adding OTS. But that's much, much easier than going trough YEM.

I tried some tweaking on 4 styles, and in about one hour I got decent results. I'll work more, of course, to get a perfect result. But from the little I did, I can tell that you made a LOVELY CHRISTMAS PRESENT !!!

Thank you so much

Ciao, and Merry Christmas  :D :D :D

Sorry for my mistake:

my post was intended to be addressed to Wersianer.

But still thanks to Misu also.
