Hi all
I wish to listen to the .sty files before importing them into my keyboard but I don't have a PC (just a tablet) so that I cannot use the usual style files readers. So that I was looking for an online tool.... I tried one already but with no luck.
Alternatively, as I'm using an iPad, is there any iOS app capable of reading the .sty files?
I have a rather old keyboard and importing .sty files is a kind of pain so that I wish to preview/select them before importing :-)
Thanks a lot

Maybe I'm missing something, but why don't you copy styles from tablet to USB stick, then insert stick into keyboard and on keyboard simply open style from USB stick? -it's the simplest way to listen how the style actually sounds on your keyboard.

He might have an old keyboard that doesn't have usb input. The old way of transferring files was a pain.

Exactly, I'm still using an old PSR-E333.
With Yamaha MusicSoft app and an ipad it's quite easy to send styles to the keyboard but only one at a time and it would be great to pre-listen to the style in advance rather then doing trial and error....

I downloaded One Man Band Lite and managed to load a .sty file but no way to play or hear it. I'd need a standalone player without the keyboard connected via midi.

You need a General midi soundfont, there are a lot of free ones on the internet

Yeah I did it, I d/l a couple of the suggested soundfonts and selected them in the settings/ports page but still no sound, not even with the preset styles.... Don't know what I'm doing wrong or maybe the app is not working with iOS 16 or there's some limitation in the Lite version......
Any other suggestion?
Thanks a lot by the way

Problem solved!
Don't know exactly what I did in the settings but now I can hear style files playing from my iPad with the One Man Band app (quite expensive, but it's gonna save me tons of time).
Now the latest mystery is why a few .sty play 90% the same on my PSR-E333 while a few others don't play at all, not even Main A and Main B and not even the ACMP.
But in the end, huge step ahead in making my old board still usable.
Thanks for all the advices and replies.
