Guys, is there any software that does the opposite of Style unlocker, that is, blocks the style against unwanted edits?
Thank you!

I think, if you use "CASM Editor" an excellent utility by mr. Jørgen Sørensen, you can select if the style channels are editable or not.
It is not exactly what you want, you can't just import a style and export it locked, but if you spend some time on order to familiarize with this utility you can finally do what you want.
It is the last column on main screen (see foto)

Thanks mikf!
I'll try this program then.
Thanks for the tip!

Hey guys!
Passing by to let you know that unfortunately I didn't have much success with Casm edit.
As I am visually impaired, the program was not accessible for interaction with my screen reader.
A pity because I'm going to need this software a lot, including a course on creating styles on the computer that I'm planning to do with a Brazilian programmer.
With simpler programs from the same developer, you can even do something, but this is not the case with this one, which has many checkboxes, combo boxes and other elements of the interface without a label for the screen reader. Then it really gets very complicated.

If Jørgen is considerate and willing to think carefully about the accessibility of his programs for use by the visually impaired, I could help by referring friends of mine who are programmers and know possible javas accessibility libraries that have been around for a while and are never used, for lack of information or knowledge.

Thanks anyway to whoever tried to help me!
Regards,
Gabriel

Although mr. Sørensen is a regular in this forum and maybe read your message, it is better to contact him directly from his web site http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/
I contact him a few times in the past asking for help and he offer me all the help I need and excellent suggestion.
Mr. Sørensen is a GREAT person and If he can help you he will do so.

gabrielschuck

Good to know that. I will definitely contact him directly. Thank you!

It would be the other way around. I want to lock channels of a style against edits.
I even used the one you linked here, but I only managed to unlock the first variation of the style the last time I tested it.

Gabriel

Just curious, why the need to lock style edits?

Since Jorgen has written a program to "unlock" the style channels, he must know how the styles are "locked" and could write a program to lock all channels... but since there is a free  program to unlock the styles, I would think that locking a style would not help because someone could unlock the style with Jorgen's Style Unlocker program.
