Recently I found and started to use an interesting style.
The name of it baffles me.
Here's the style:  https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZs40OXZyforni4dNrYvbXfftn22r5ICd5nV

and the name is:  SLndBrthBls-Pn.S640

The BrthBls makes me think of the song Birth of the Blues.  And Pn usually signifies Piano.

Has anyone any more insight on this style and what the name is supposed to mean.
thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,

when you open this Style file in a text editor on the computer, you can see the original file name "Singin-the-Blues f kb.S640.STY" and the copyright notice "Yamaha Corp. 2001" of this SFF1 Style.

The name "SLndBrthBls-Pn" doesn't mean much to me at the moment.

In the Excel file "FileIndex.xls" from our forum member Henni, this Style is listed as a "Pianist" Style (row 1132 in sheet "FileIndex"):

That's interesting info about the style.
I'd never seen that FileIndex spreadsheet before and wonder how one uses it.

thanks for the reply,

Larry
