Please excuse my ignorance, but is there something called "Guitar mode" hidden away inside the Style Editor of my s970?

Hi Alan,

yes, since the current Yamaha Style File Format "SFF2" (also called "SFF GE", which means "Guitar Edition") has already been introduced with Tyros3 and PSR-S910, your S970 also has this "Guitar Mode".

Best regards,
Chris
● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thank you. I haven't met this mode. I shall explore.

Hi manojm, you made a great video. Everything is explained clearly and precisely.
If anyone is interested in a slightly different approach and explanation of this Guitar rule, they can watch my video.

I would only add one detail. You've shown how Mega Voice sound can be added to Chord 2 for more realistic sound. We can use Mega Voice sound on the same channel (Chord1) which plays chord tones and Fret Noise. In this case, we will place Fret Noise or Strum Noise (above C6 tone) in the new zone and select NTT Type Bypass. (picture) Unfortunately, this cannot be determined on the keyboard itself. We can only do this with the Style Magic YA program. Many guitars are made in this way in factory rhythms.
