Hi all,
I've recently found a song that I would love trying my hand at.
It's called "Desert Skies" by the Marshall Tucker Band.
https://youtu.be/LlKXmRXiU78
It has the bass line in beginning and feel of "Happy Trails" by Roy Rogers.
If anyone has a suitable style or could point me in the right direction it would be hugely appreciated by me.
And you may enjoy trying your hand at this Marshall Tucker song as well. It has nice fiddle/violin and Sax solos in it.
Thank you
Jim

On my PSR-S950 in the R&B section the Modern Shuffle with a tempo set at 105 works very well if you turn off the Chd1 (piano) in the style on/off section.

Thank you Gary, yes with the piano off it's usable. I took horns off too.
I've never messed with style creation much and thinking now might be a good time seeing as I'm still learning a lot of new stuff on the SX900 OS anyway
I know things have been tougher on you of late Gary and I have to thank you for all you've done for so many of us for all these years.
I'll try to be at least half the gentleman you've always been

Gary, I've stumbled on a better one. It has the proper bass line!
It's also in the r&b section of my SX900
Variation 3 of the soul shuffle, slowed down of course.
But works better than any thing else I've found for that "old cowboy" style
Hope you are feeling well still from the prednisone and it'll last you a long while
