Does anybody know if it possible to load a loop (Wav file) into a drum kit in YEM? I just decided to give it a try and as soonas i press that key both in YEM and the keyboard it just plays over and over again (and on the keyboard it literally doesnt stop till i shut the keyboard off). Can anybody advise if ther's a way around this issue? Thanks

Meaning is there  a way i can have the loop play just for the duration of the actual length of the loop (or even better only for the duration of how long i hold down the assigned key)

Hi shuey,

set the parameter "Receive Note Off" to ON in the settings for this particular Drum Key.

Most Drum sounds are "one shot" samples, and they play well when using the default option "Receive Note Off" = OFF. But for longer or looped samples this parameter should be set to ON. :)

Best regards,
Chris

Maybe @shuey is thinking of the Audio Style (drum) loop. You must process the Audio Drum before inserting it into YEM. You can do this with Yamaha's Audio Phraser program (* .aus) or with some program like Recycle that creates Rex files. Watch the video.
