I'd seen a tutorial on YouTube on editing styles.

So I Thought I would have a go. Pick any style and turn all the style part volumes down to 0. Start to play the style as per usual then turn up the volume of a style part, then mix in other style parts, if you end up with a style with just to parts that you like you can save in a registration. Sometimes styles can be too busy or parts can be drowned out by other parts. Have a play an let me know what results you get.

I use style parts mute most days on certain style to make the style suitable for a song.
Also adding a MultiPad can be a benefit.

It does make quite a difference.

You can also change the voices in the style as some of the voices are quite overwhelming and drown out others. Example of this is the
OperaClassic.sty where the unchanged style is just a complete drone all through.
"The bass drum is not quite in time. I cut out Rhythm 1, Pad and the Phrases; otherwise the accompaniment is overwhelming."
