Genos date of manufacture

Hi there.. I've recently purchased an ex-display genos ..and would like to know the year of manufacture.. using the serial number.. does anyone know how to do that?

Well Genos is in its third year now so if a demo model it is likely to be one of the first ones.

you could ask your dealer: To my knowledge, Yamaha dealers can find out the production date (year and month) using the Serial number (which can be found on a sticker on the bottom of the keyboard).
