Hi all,

Just an idea :

Could it be possible to use a bass pedals keyboard (a 13-key one or more) to control some functions of a Genos ?
For example, the C key could be assigned to trigger the Main A, the C# key to trigger the Fill A, etc...

Hi Luluc,

Yes that's perfectly possible. I am doing that on my Genos (and used to do it on Tyros 5 before as well)

You use the 'External Controller' tab in the midi section of Genos to configure it.

Good luck!

I think any midi based bass pedals will work..

You either set it up to controll the midi channel of the bass.. in styles
But then you would have to delete all basstracks in your styles..
To my knowledge Genos does not have a function bass to pedals we see on Ketron instruments.

You could also assign the basspedals to a midi channel of the song parts,..when using it with styles..

Personally, i would use the v-console, as it offers much more freedom..
