Need help changing picture in profile

  Can anyone tell me how to change my picture in profile ? Trying to update this but no success

Greg,

Right under your name in the top right corner of the Home page, you will see a profile button. Click on this then select Forum Profile. Once there you can select of change your profile picture. They call them avatars.

 Hi Rick I got to the avatar section and loaded in my new Picture but it did not work. It says that the file could be too large . Its a JPG so I don't know what my next step would be. I don't know how to reduce the size on this picture ?

Hi Greg,
if you have windows this video will help you to resize a picture with "Paint" which is installed on every computer with windows as far as I know.

Pano beat me to it, I was going to tell you the same thing. Paint works well to resize. you want it to be around 1000X700 pixels or smaller.

I've helped many members in the past with their Avatars, Greg.  This is a fairly straight forward procedure; however, if you fail in your attempt to modify your Avatar, please email the photo to me and I will resize it and update your profile for you. 

My email address can be found by clicking on my Avatar.

     I think Joe resized it for me because I emailed him the other day. The new Picture is up but I will keep that program in mind you sent for any further pictures in the future. Thanks to you all for your input much appreciated
