Empty voice for r3

Hi all
I would like to use r3 to control SampleTank2 and assign it to live control volume. For that I try not to assign any program to r3 but I'm not be able to do so. Please help ! Thanks a lot

I don't know anything about Sample Tank but I suggest ...

Use the MIDI settings menu to set 'local control' to OFF for R3. It will continue to send out MIDI messages - which I assume you're assigning somewhere - but won't make any sounds on the SX itself.
