I have performed all of the updates and so far very pleased. Superior pack is nice. Now that I have chord looper I experimented a little with it. Can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to use chord looper. Thanks.

Hi --

Did you also download the new manuals? The manuals cover the new features including Chord Looper.

Chord Looper is described on pages 13 to 18 of the Genos Reference Manual.

Here is the procedure.

if you have Chord Tracker app you can extract the chords from a song (mp3 wav etc) and then dump the chords in banks of 4 bars to chord looper where you can then play them with any style and save your chords to a folder on your genos.

The app must be connected to the genos for this to work - USB cable from device to Host or via wifi or bluetooth USB midi.

Hi filippo,

that's my video which i created to support the members of a dutch facebook group.
I've also recorded the same video in English but i still have to edit that in the editor.

But basically what i do here is adding the chord looper function to the home screen (on the assignable page) and use the Assignable E button for Loop start / stop and the Assignable F button for loop recording.
In the demo starting from 03:35 you see me recording the loop in realtime by pressing the Assignable F button and immediately loop it after that with the E button to keep the chord progression looping.

My guess is that with this info the screens in the video are more then enough to set it up yourself.

Very good demonstration. Thank you for that.
