Saving Multiple RH Voices without the Style

I know how to save the voices individually and of course these do not include a style. Is it possible to save the RH1+RH2+RH3 at the same time without any style accompaniment?

Hi Richard.

I don't understand what do you mean by saving all Right Voices?! Where to save? In registrations? If so, activate all 3 Rights (orange color on all R1, R2 and R3) and save to a registration without checking Style and Tempo in Memory screen. Or in Memory Screen, check Voice and other things you want to save in that registration, like Harmony, Transpose, etc. In this way you can use all those three Rights voices without changing style when you play.

If you want something else, please elaborate!

As I said, I can save a single voice e.g. RH1 to Favourites or Expansion/User and recall this at any time complete with their own parameters etc. which is no problem. Let us say I have called up an mfd song and I like the three RH voice which work very well together and I wish to save them as separate entity and not as a registration file. Is it possible to do this?

No. A registration or OTS are the options you have.

No.

But are you sure you realise that when you create a registration file, you get to choose what it contains (and thereby what it does not contain). If you just want it to contain the 3 RH voice settings then you can do that.

Yes, "partially" you can, but you have to combine them into a single voice in YEM, using Elements.

Well, there's nothing easier than a registration. The first thing I do when I like a style is copy its OTS to a registration. Then I start working on the song.

Hi Richard,

to save the current Voice settings of the keyboard Parts to an OTS button:

Press [Memory] button and then the desired OTS button (1 - 4).

Then save the current Style as a User Style (to User memory or to a USB stick, because Preset Styles can NOT be overwritten).

Please refer also to SX900 Owner's Manual, page 54 ("Memorizing Original Panel Settings to One Touch Setting").

Be aware! Using OTS will automatically enable Sync Start! So if you want using all keyboard, when changing thru OTS buttons will enable Sync and will start the drums when you first press keys!

This does not work in all conditions

Example:
Registration saved with Sync Start OFF.
ACMP is OFF.
Full keyboard piano voice.
Playing some measures from my song with piano (ONLY piano).
press on ACMP to activate and Sync Start to activate (ON both, but first one on ACMP).
Starts playing verse, chorus, etc.
Finally, I want to play again the ending of my song only with piano voice, so I press on registration (reload registration).
ACMP will set to OFF, the keyboard is full, but style does not stop.

So, if style is playing, the Sync Start OFF setting in registration does not stop the style.

So be aware of that , too
