Of late I've been experimenting pretty intensely with midi files professional and amateur. I found out today when playing on my PSR S975 that I can quite often change a channel from for example super articulated steel guitar to a megavoice 12 string guitar and it sounds so much richer. I also tried it with strings, again a richer sound. I never knew megavoices would sometimes work when experimenting this way. I dont know the specifics and formulas and why it sometimes works but through trial and error its something new that I learned today.

Yamaha created a software that automatically convert the standard GM/GS voice mapping to MegaVoices voice mapping, perhaps it could help you ?

It is called 'MegaEnhancer' : https://europe.yamaha.com/en/support/updates/megaenhancer_for_win.html

Hi,

Does anyone know if this supports the tyros 4, please?

Thanks,

Martin

I think that it works for the Tyros 4 because:
* The version history has :
Quote[V1.5.1 to V2.0.0]
Now supports Revo!Drums Voices.
Now supports CVP-701, CVP-705, CVP-709, PSR-S670, PSR-S770, PSR-S970, PSR-A3000
[V1.4.0 to V1.5.1]
Now supports Genos.
[V1.3.2 to V1.4.0]
Now supports Tyros5.

* Back in the days I had a Tyros 2, and MegaEnhancer already exists for this Keyboard !
