Hello friends!
I have a registration that I made on my Tyros, it is on a USB stick, and I seem to remember people saying that the Tyros regs work fine on Genos. But mine won't. Almost everything I programmed into it is gone, the only thing that work is sustain on and off! For instance I put the intro in reg 1, but it won't start, in reg 2 button I put the piano with sustain and multipad, sustain work, pad does not. When I work my way through the buttons and come to the outtro, it starts, but won't stop! The fills are also gone. What is going on here. Genos gremlin?

Try Murray's Best RGT converter. You can download it from this website. It is brilliant and I have been using it for years to convert RGT's from various keyboards.

Hi Toril,
All my registrations from my Tyros work fine but if I have used a third party style and multi pads then of course it won't find them. You may have to reset some things in the registration and resave but this is far quicker than creating a whole new bank.

Thanks Dick and Eileen. I just imagined they would work as is. It was a style from T5.

It will work when the style is in the same 'path' so to speak on both keyboards. If it is one bit different or the name is a bit different (one letter is enough) your RGT can't find it. Easy to restore and safe it though.

See an RGT as a road-sign pointing to different villages. If you change the name or the road to one village, the road-sign is not correct anymore and you can not find the village you are looking for.
Hope this helps to understand what an RGT is, just a mini road-sign.
I'm sure you will work it out and ones you know..... life is a piece of cake.
RGT's are wonderful.

Success and warm regards (34 degrees C here on Bali) ;D ;D ;D

I had some problems with my T5 registrations and styles, as some instruments was changed according with Genos voices, but some effects parameters was wrong read. I had for some voices, in Delay effect, the feedback was with a very big number (+20416), which definitely was a wrong value, and the feedback does not stop anymore...
I made a video in January 6th, 2018 about that problem and I've sent it to Yamaha. I don't know if the problem exists for now, because I've manually repaired all OTSes and registrations.

Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFEBAqdKd9k

Hi Toril,
Some of the Tyros 5 styles are no longer on Tyros 5 but you can download these from the Genos download site.
