we wish you all the best for the move. Hopefully all equipment reaches the destination without loss. In Germany we say "Drei mal umgezogen ist wie einmal abgebrannt.".

And I hope that you can continue you forum activities during this time. We would miss you otherwise.

The first thing I ditched was the snow blower. It's like a line in the sand -- we're outta here before the snow flies!

Aw come on guys,

Strange as it may seem I have never in all my life seen snow for real. Where I live (Queensland Australia) the average year round temperature is approximately 29°C (85°F). The variation in temperature between summer and winter is much less than you experience in Europe, North America, and northern Asia. It does snow in certain parts of Australia but I have never been there. I originally came from a similar climate in Southern Africa.

The view in the attached picture is literally across the road from my home.
