Hi,

What do you mean, in the middle of a song or the middle of a style. anyway you can do that using MixMaster.

For example, in MixMaster:

Open your file, depress the Tempo View button then depress the Edit menu item and insert a tempo event where you want it.

Are you using registrations, styles or midis?

Well Fred, I use stylus and registrations.  I[ know how to do it in a MIDI with a DAW.

Earl, there are some style files that have a tempo change built in, but they are song specific. Do you have a specific song where this would apply to your needs?

He uses stylus,,,

It's a VST.

Well,  i use registrations to change tempo . . .

example . . .
Registration 1 has tempo 1
Registration 2 has tempo 2
Registration 3 has tempo 3

and so on.

Usually i increase/decrease tempo gradually between registrations . . .

Not sure if this answers your question.

thanks

If you are using registrations, it's easy. Just store the tempo you want in the registration. I do it all the time.

Thanks all.  I think that what I want to do it would be best to use registrations.  Thde song I'm dealing with is "Thank God and Greyhound you're gone"

travlin-easy

Earl, for both of those songs, registrations would be the best way to go. I suggest also using a fill or break, thereby making the change in tempo a smoother transition.

Good luck,
