Undocumented feature(s) in 1.4

Something that was possible on Tyros 5, but has been missing on Genos so far, seems to have been reintroduced in update 1.40

It is now again possible to scroll through registration sequences, using the '- dec' and  'inc +' buttons located to the right of the main screen.
Also, pressing both at the same time will reset the registration sequence.

I for one,  am very happy with that

That is really great! I've searched through the assignable functions to find a 'Reg. Sequence reset' but couldn't find one.
This is quite handy, when you are practicing songs with many registration changes.

How did you find that ?

Well I used it frequently when I was on Tyros 5, like you say, also when practicing.

About a year ago, when I realised it had not been ported to Genos, I contacted local yamaha support, and requested it to be reintroduced. They replied that they had already received multiple requests for it by other Genos owners and that they had already forwarded the request further down the yamaha line ....

So when 1.4 was released it just tried it, like I did with other features that I feel are missing and that are not on the list of changes in 1.4 ...
So far, it was the only one that actually worked

A couple of other things I tried....
    - possibility to add non preset things (voices/styles) as favourites
    - automatic uppercasing of first letter of words when entering file names
    - automatic blanking out song names when loading a registration file in which blank song names were saved ...  Now these song names stick like glue ...
