Hi again.  I wonder if there is any way to tell if a registration RGT is for which Tyros Model.
I have plenty of them, too many but if you could look inside the file with an Hex editor and tell by some byte or similar
if the registration  was made in which Keyboard or Workstation?
I am attaching just a few RGT that won't work on my Tyros2. Hope you can help.

Just use Murray Best's registration manager. It will convert the registrations to your keyboard.

Hi Aldus,

Murray Best's 'Yamaha Registration Manager' program reports that all the registrations that you posted are for PSR-S970.

The program will convert them so that a Tyros2 can load them, but there are likely to be voices, styles, etc. used by them which are not available on a Tyros2.

It's probably worth giving the program a try with them to see what the results are like.

If you decide that it's worth it even if you need to do some further work on the conversions, you can carry out the basic conversion in a batch if you copy all those that you want to convert into a single folder on your computer.

Here is a link to a page from which you can download the program...  https://psrtutorial.com/util/best.html
