Hello Friends

I have a challenge at work.  We have a conference room equipped with computer, projector, speakers, etc.   It is used for presentations such as Powerpoint, videos, sound, pictures, music, etc.

The conference room is relatively large and can accomodate up to 100 people maybe 150 with some people standing up.

The equipment is now old and malfunctioning.  We are thinking about replacing.

I thought a laptop with bluetooth and two maui 5's.   should do the job.   The laptop would be connected to the projector for the images and send the sound to the maui's via bluetooth.

My questions are . . .
1. has anyone used a computer with built-in bluetooth or bluetooth adapter to send the sound from the computer to the maui5 ?
2. In this case, can the laptop send the sound via bluetooth to 2 mauis at same time ?
3. can a microphone additionally be connected to the maui for people to speak on the microphone for conferences, etc. at same time as sound is send from computer to maui
4. i guess i would not need a mixer

If you have a maui and have done something similar, your comments will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance.

travlin-easy

A number of individuals have tried this and the problem using bluetooth technology is latency.

thanks Gary.

Good point.  I did not think about latency.  I guess will have to use a 3.5mm cable.

have a great day.
