Hi all,

I'm having trouble saving,  my currently scanned sheet music from "NOTES"  to "ForScore" for some unknown reason.

I've performed this operation hundreds of times,  some time ago,  but now it seems not to work as it did before.

It keeps wanting to revert to my previously scanned sheet with the options:- Duplicate - Overwrite - Skip.

Here's how I work.

1.     Scan sheet music using the built-in scanner in ipad pro 3 - OS12.  This is automatically saved in "NOTES"
2.     Name & crop the file.  Click DONE.
3.     Click the square with the arrow on top  -  Click "Copy To ForScore"
4.     Click CROP in the toolbox dropdown.  -  Crop & then name the file.

What's happening now is when I click "Copy to ForScore" in 3. above, I keep getting this option for the previous sheet I scanned.

I would appreciate some help with this.

I'm running ForScore 10.5.2

The three options you're being presented with are logical as Forscore is telling you you've already got that score installed.

If you want to replace the first one, just select 'Overwrite' and the new one will do just that.

If you select 'Skip', you're telling Forscore, ignore what I'm doing, I'll revert to the original.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the quick response.

I do understand what you are saying, but seeing the previous sheet of music on screen was confusing me.

However,  after some more playing with this ipad,  I now find that if I click "DUPLICATE",  it brings up the correct sheet music & then I can proceed to CROP & NAME.

Hi Alan

Why not just use the builtin Scanner within Forscore.

Hi Bill,

By this do you mean the "Darkroom" setting.

I've never tried this but will investigate it shortly.
