Hi

I had a look at your YT tutorial, and if I understand it correctly, it's only the native, or'onboard' styles at the different Yam models that is possible to select?

Wim NL

If I can select user styles now,
I would be very happy.

So can I?
Best Regards,
Wim

Hi Wim,

I hope so ... cross my fingers too.🙏

If this prog can do what I am hoping for, it would be a nice additional XGWorks tool ( for my personal applications ).

Time will tell.

@ Jorgen
I tried to send you a PM but you have blocked that so I can't send you the link to the software until you allow PM's

@ Wim, Gunnar, Beykock,

You can use custom styles and play back to those styles from the software.  I have tested that and it works. The Genos does not allow selecting user styles for recording at the keyboard which is unfortunate. I think some of the keyboards do allow selecting of user styles when recording but I cannot test that. Someone with such a keyboard will have to test that.

Richard

Where to download / buy for those of us that would like to try?
(As far as I can see, there is not any link leading to the 'old' version or website in your signature or YT channel)

Hi Richard,

Thanks for all of your hard work Midi Maker 2.  :)

Like you, I have written and sold software, in the past, and would have volunteered to test your program, if it weren't for the fact that my plate is very full at the present time.

I will not be selling Midi Maker. I am retired and it gives me pleasure to make music, play games and create software. I write software for one of my gaming platforms and now I know a little bit about midi I tried my hand at writing something for Yamaha keyboards. I am happy to share with others.

I knew you weren't planning on selling Midi Maker, Richard.  It's very considerate of you to do this for the membership of our community.  :)  :)  :)
