I have MP3 song (example IT HAD TO BE YOU) and I would like to sync the sequencing style from GENOS using BOSSA STYLE and do
a mixing of the original MP3 with the Genos Style recording (either directly or save 1st as a MIDI File then record as MP3 version)

I am not sure if this topic has been brought up earlier.

Any advice on step by step instructions or page reference manual on Owner's Manual/Reference Manual would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & regards
Oz

I don't think you can sync the audio of the mp3 to the beat of the style..
This means that when playing them at the same time they will unsync ..

You need a midi file, not an MP3, to do what you want.

OK - use a midi file. But how do you sync it with a style???

Kind regards

Tyros 5 was my choice - now it is only Genos1 !

The sync (beat) happens automatically..
But when using anything else but drums, you do need to play the right chords..

Hi
You could use elements from a wave file and make pads to assist in playing with a style.
Use audio link.

I will add that if you buy a SMF or Midi file made by Yamahamusicsoft.com or midi spot that are basically Yamaha, or made in a PSR S or Tyros5, the Midi file if is made by what I mentioned, automatically will ALSO follow the chord progression....just have the styles (preferably already in the Registration bank, made sure that have the same tempo, just as a precaution, because the tempo is sync automatically).....

I use Taylor Swift (Shake it off) Midi file that I got from Yamaha, and made up up to 8 different styles, and during the song, I change the styles, is incredible that you can hear the song with an entire different arrangement.
