Does anyone have a voice of the armenian duduk preferably where the instrument can be accessed via USB stick and not having to upload into YEM

Also I was wondering if this instrument was amongst the 127 instruments in the Middle east Premium pack, Yamaha musicsoft site does not show what is in this pack
thanking in advance

Hi Del,
sounds close enough to a clarinet
if you could combine a couple of sounds like a clarinet with a panflut or an oboe or some other ethnic organ I believe you could have this sound.(with one or two octaves down)

Here is how a greek ethnic clarinet sounds and I think is also a similar sound

Thanks for replying Panos, I do already have and oboe that sounds similar with the help of the modulation wheel I just got to try and tweak it a bit. The range of the Duduk F# to top A on the treble clef stave so it does not have a great range.
I just wondered if someone out there had a dedicated voice.

Hi Del,

You can try the attached voice if you like, but the samples are rather short!   It is one of Francisco Massa's expansion voices from years back, originally for T3.  He stopped distributing voices on his website years ago, so I hope he won't mind me passing it on to you.

It is in UVN format which can be imported into YEM.
