SFF 1 to SFF 2

I saw this on the FAQ'S

SFF1  to  SFF2 :  Load the  style  in  to  a  instruments  that  supports  SFF2  and  save

How does the voice change?

That procedure doesn't change the voices, it just automatically changes the CASM section of the style from the "SFF1" format to the "SFF2" format.

If you want to change the voices or other things about the style, you can load the "SFF1" style, edit the voices and other things as desired, and then save it.

Oh! Now I understand why an SFF1 style that I made some OTS changes to on my S970, afterwards would not play on my 2100! When I checked, the style had gotten bigger. Good to know. I had to find the original style without my changes to get it to work on my 2100.

Yes, if you load a format "SFF1" style into a keyboard that can play "SFF2" styles, then save it, the keyboard will automatically save it as "SFF2." If you changed it and would like to play it on a keyboard that can play only "SFF1" styles, use Jorgen's program to convert the edited style back to "SFF1" format:
